that's it till the new year!!

I finished my last shift now until january 1st!! woohoo, what a tiring 2 nights i just worked. We are overflowing....literally there was not a bed to be had this morning. Now I need to focus on getting my butt in gear for Christmas and Big White.
Not much else going on around here....darren, the kids and I went out friday night for my birthday....ugh I hate being old! other than that and work not so much going on. The kids of course have there christmas concert this week at school and then the pancake breakfast with santa Thursday morning which means i need to be there around 6:00 to help set up and assume my responsibilities as whip cream girl. If I don't talk to you before Christmas I hope everyone has a Happy, Healthy and Safe CHRISTMAS and nothing but good wishes for the NEW YEAR.

Oh by the way...check out how much my monsters have grown...the pic is the kids in 2004 Boxing day the 2nd 2005 Boxing day

15 days till christmas!!

so it would appear I have been very neglectful with respect to this blog but I really don't have an excuse other than life happens......
The snow has all melted so soccer was back on today for Taryn....
Trying to figure out what we need to take up to Big White, what to get the kids for christmas, what to get Darren???? have pretty much finished with Mom and Dad, helen, troy & kids etc.
The next couple of weeks tend to be busy with school events etc. Am dissappointed to hear that Taryn's class is doing the same song that the grade one's did last year...even the same costumes. Apparently there are a few teachers who do the same thing every year....how hard is it to pick a new song?? Matthew however will be playing the "ultra glockenspiel" what ever that may be for his songs class.......
Bye for now.
