snow snow snow and more snow

the snow here is crazy....well for here it is anyway... the kids are loving it! But now the meltdown begins...2 trees in our complex came down last night....I really need to get my butt in gear and start the christmas countdown.....still not sure what to do about decorating??? Really need to figure out what to take to Big white also........way too much to do!!

too much christmas cheer!!

well we had our work christmas party last night and had a blast.....set up was easy this year, good thing since only 3 of us were there....food was awsome, band was great, bartender a little too great, overall a fantastic eve.....and now i am paying for it...my only saving grace is that my wonderful mother took the kids last night and then kept them and took them to the ice capades-ooops sorry i mean disney on ice......off the try and eat something enjoy your weekend it is cold here-slight snow.......

it's raining it's pouring.......

Rain rain and more rain!! uuuck! so unfortunately the class i was going to take was cancelled so now i will be working tomorrow......was feeling guilty about calling in sick anyway......not too happy though that i short shifted myself, silly me worked last night(thursday) and now am working a day on saturday and then 2 nights......Hopefully the rain will stop long enough to play soccer on sunday.

back and the busy season begins!

tuesday Suzanne and I went to the outlet mall near seattle....fun but apparently my calves are too big for most dress boots!! I did manage to purchase 2 of the cutest purses though and some smelly stuff from the gap.we were staying the night so after checking in we went to the casino for the buffett dinner....not the best, then i lost some money on the slots...a whole 6$, hold me back!! I did however have a great sleep, i quite like a big bed all to myself with no snoring or kids waking me up....wednesday we decided to drive to the "Supermall"-not so super. then up to Bellis fair on our way home. The problem being we were in the storm of the century, the power kept going out in the mall every 8 minutes or so which meant darkness then having to wait for the tills to reboot....it was not meant to be. we had dinner then drove home throught the power outages and raging winds. this actually is quite comical since our origional plan was to go to Tofino for a few nights and watch the storms....people bailed so shopping was our next option.
i am working tonight and then the weekend but am managing to take in an Allie Edwards class so that is cool. Next week is the christmas party for work so i really need to find something to wear!!! then the christmas push is on to get presents, skis etc organized before we leave for Big white. Have a great weekend, think of me in the cold windy rain on sunday for Taryn's soccer game.

Sorry I have been neglecting my blog but there really hasn't been anything too exciting to talk about. I had my stint as a guest designer for scrapbooking store. went ok, I am always my worst judge.....
Nothing new with the kids........rain rain go away........
went to the airport today to drop my dad off-apparently a trip to england to watch some soccer is part of his retirement plan.
went to the Dixie Chicks last night....great show...very funny slagging bush.

sugar coma!!

so last night was a very cold Halloween!! trick or treat! I ate way too many coffee crisps now my tummy hurts, oh well. I have to work tonight so this is a quick entry, sorry for being bad. Hopefully i will get my break at the same time dancing with the stars reveals who gets voted off!
